Kyle Clifford retires after 15-year career, joins Toronto Maple Leafs in player development role Kyle Clifford, a veteran of 15 NHL seasons, retires from professional hockey. He joins the Toronto Maple Leafs in a player development role. Clifford won Stanley Cups with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and 2014.
